The Art of Wedding Photojournalism
Photography (when done well) is a very complex thing, there are many factors involved that will affect the final image. Photographing in an emotionally and psychologically charged situation can be very difficult at best and downright dangerous in some situations. Photojournalism requires a Zen-like discipline of concentration and the ability to divide your attention between the real space and time around you and the more abstract space and time through the camera lens.
Being always acutely aware of what is going on means more often than not, you will not have time to stop, look , think and make camera adjustments, this must be as automatic as breathing. This is not a skill that can be acquired in a mater of just a few months or years.
Wedding photojournalism is applying professional skills and honed visual perception talent to tell the story of a wedding.
